LOTS OF LAUGHTER AT BARTONS, CHILWELL, NOTTINGHAM.
Funhouse Comedy brings another great night of laughter to Bartons, Chilwell, Nottingham.
Headliner is the relaxed and wildly talented Paul Kerensa, co-writer of Lee Mack's hit sitcom ‘Not Going Out’. His excellent one-liners and inspired prop-based maths putdowns are ingenious. With his personal anecdotes and audience banter he has the crowd in the palm of his hand and his ease on stage and smart material, make him a joy to watch.
Support comes from Dan Thomas, who has supported Russell Kane on tour. This forceful and energetic Welsh funnyman delivers his observational jokes with skill and a rare sense of wistfulness.
Also appearing will be Mundo Jazz, a spoof World Music band whose mission is to teach us about peace, the environment, racial harmony and love. It is unfortunate then, that he knows nothing about anything. Mundo Jazz preaches love and understanding with all the subtlety of a brick hitting butter, through his ridiculous, catchy songs, awful dancing, legendary one-liners and thunderously crass philosophizing. Celebrity fans include Neil Gaiman, Johnny Depp and Suzanne Vega.
The amiable and animated Spiky Mike is host and compere for the night.
